Terms and Conditions
Our goal is to provide our customer with fast, efficient services where
our customers are fully aware of all Terms & Conditions before entering
a contract. To help us achieving our goal please make sure you've read
the following before using our website, purchasing our products or engage
in our services.
The following Terms and Conditions are written for CMC Automatic
Doors (ABN 79 529 606 730).
CMC Automatic Doors reserves the right to update our
Terms & Conditions from time to time without notifying you.
In using this website and our service you confirm to have read
and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. PRODUCTS & SERVICES WARRANTY
(Unless specified differently on quotation. Warranty varies depending
on door age and condition).
The following warranty applies to new doors and new automations.
1.1 Warranty Periods: Garage Doors (1yr) Roller Doors Motors (up to 7yrs)
Sectional & Tilt Doors Motors (up to 7yrs)
Motor Electrical Parts (12 Months) Service & Maintenance on Motor
(12 Months) Sliding/Swinging Gate Motors (2yrs). Installation Warranty
(1yr) Garage Door Service (90 Days). Warranty Period for Supply Only Products:
12 months factory warranty only if the product completely stop working.
Parts will be replaced if possible, service call out fee applies. Our
warranty will NOT cover installation problems if you install the product
by yourself. A service call out fee applies if you require a service call
out to inspect any problems that occurred from a product you have installed
by yourself. Installation Warranty is 1 year and does not cover the products
themselves. Service existing doors or motors come with 90 days warranty
(from servicing date and only applicable to specific parts that we have
serviced). Our warranty is only valid if you follow instructions in the
supplied "User Handbook" (if applicable) on how to maintain
your garage door, motors and gates.
1.2 Our warranty only covers the specific parts or product that we have
installed or serviced. A call out fee ($75 for first 1/2hr) will be charged
if the defected parts or product was not installed or serviced by us.
1.3 When you experience problems with a product installed by us which
is under Warranty we will do our best to resolve the problem as soon as
possible. Most problems can be resolved over the phone with the support
of our Technicians. We will first provide technical support over the phone
and will ask for your cooperation to rectify the issue promptly. If the
problem can not be resolved over the phone, our Service men will attend
to the job within 1-5 working days.
A 30% deposit is required where applicable. Deposit is not refundable
if product has already been ordered. Deposit is refundable if cancellation
of orders happen within 24hrs. Cancellation fee applies. Please see section
Payment of Cash, Personal Cheques, Business Cheques, all major Credit
Cards, Direct Bank Deposits are all accepted method of payments. A surcharge
(2.6%) applies for Credit Cards payments. A 30% deposit is required where
applicable. Balance is to be paid upon completion of work. Prices include
GST. A late payment of 2% applies for all payments later than 3 business
days from due date.
4. CANCELLATION FEE
4.1 Motors: A cancellation fee of $30 is applicable if installation has
arrived to site on installation date. To avoid cancellation fee please
cancel 12hrs prior to installation date.
4.2 Doors: A cancellation fee of $50 is applicable if installation has
arrived to site on installation date. Deposit is not refundable if doors
have been ordered. If doors have NOT been ordered, deposit can be refunded
but a cancellation fee of $50 will be deducted from deposit amount.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We will provide compensation if damage was caused directly by our installers
onsite on installation date.
However CMC Automatic Doors is NOT liable for damages to vehicle, property
or any other damages if they occur after installations. It is important
that you follow instructions in the supplied "User Handbook"
(if applicable) on how to maintain your garage door, motors and gates
to avoid accidental damages.
6. WEBSITE DISCLAIMER - Exclusions and Limitations
The information on this web site is provided on an "as is" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:
excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website
and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates
or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuries
or omissions in this website and/or the Company's literature; and
excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection
with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation,
direct loss, loss of business or profits, damaged caused to your computer,
computer software, systems and programs and the date thereon or any
